Barber Half Gainer Pack

Description

The Barber 1/2 (Half) Gainer is the dual version of the Barber LTD overdrive with a specific Mid control that adjusts the midrange content and shifts the EQ curve to compliment the amount of midrange added or cut. With the Mid control set to min, we get a sound much like the LTD SR (flatter EQ), and with the Mid control set to max, we get a sound more like the LTD V2 (thicker tone). The Half Gainer also has two internal trim pots for Presence and Bass, both in stock position for the captures. In this pack, you'll find several Mid settings of my Barber Half Gainer. For these captures, the (G)ain has been set from 7 o'clock (Min) to 5 o'clock (Max), the (T)one to 1:30, the (M)id from 9 o'clock to 3 o'clock, and the (V)olume to 3 o'clock. The calibration data is entered in the nam files.
