Last update: 2026-02-22 Equipment: - Acedo Áudio 276 head: 6W single-ended tube amplifier, with one 12AX7 preamp tube and one EL84 power tube. Controls: volume, treble ("agudo"), and gain. An amp for those looking for a vintage crunch similar to old Fender amps. Made in 2019. - Tmiranda AT-1 attenuator / load box - Radial reamp box - Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 (4th gen) audio interface Captures: The interface input gain was adjusted so that the recordings would peak around -8 dB. The amplifier is low to mid gain. It is not meant for metal, but rather for vintage rock or blues. In particular, gain 10 is noisy, and volume 9 is better than 10. The captures include: cleanish, low gain and mid gain. Usage: The captures were made using only the amp head (with the input.wav sweep signal); it is necessary to use an IR. I like playing this amplifier with my Telecaster using the P12Q or P12R IR (Jensen P12Q speaker) with a more balanced EQ. Feel free to test different IRs.
