Beyer Dynamic DT100 Headphones and a Vitavox Miltary Grade Microphone! WTF!

Bit experimental this one..... Was having a bit of a mess around with a technique where you re record vocals , By Micing up the Headphones on a stand with an SM57! It gives an interesting boxy dirty sound which you can blend back in....sounds quite cool. But, I thought whilst its up and running send the Tone 3000 tone sweep through, might be fun on guitars or other sounds ... but then I thought well everyone has a SM57...... Not everyone has a strange Military grade Vitavox Mic that may have been in a tank submarine or battleship ! I've not seen this exact one anywhere else but thought would give it a go.... So if you want Hi Fi or Amp Stacks or that type of thing please look away now! If you want the sound of some one barking orders at you in the Danger Zone!!....then maybe just might be what you are looking for... See what you think ....If you like it I'm calling in the Hegseth Technique!...Lots of Military Bulk and Metal but and ultimately small and grotty! Classed as Outboard even though its nor really So here you go an odd mic in some old headphones!! Cheers Matt
