Description

Had to redo the EL-70s this time around--initially I set them on the top row, but came to realize they record better on the bottom. You get more isolation due to them being straight-facing and away from the air. I still included some fun mic mixes as well as mixes including the unmarked V12s. These IRs are so modern metal, as so, I recommend them with amps that have a thicker texture...Rectos, Engls, Diezels, Bogners, Orange....that kind of thing. They'll work great with Plexi and Vox style amps as well, but keep the gain to a mid-70s crunch. The EL-70s have harmonic overtones that can get a bit intense if the amp model's distorted character is too wiry. This speaker likes 'em thicc!
