Description

I captured my DOD Boneshaker Distortion, a pedal that was a collaboration between DOD and Black Arts Toneworks. The pedal is more of a tone shaping overdrive/EQ than a full-on distortion pedal. The Boneshaker has a 3 band semi-parametric EQ. Its Depth knob extends the pedal’s response to very low frequencies, but its effect is mostly not discernible. I thought the boosted mid frequencies were the most useful, so I focused on that set of controls. The Mid Frequency controls sweeps from about 380Hz to 1050Hz. Steinberg UR824 Line Out - DIYRE Line2Amp at 11.5dBu DOD Boneshaker - Warm Tonebeast DI Steinberg UR824 In at 11.5dBu I recommend setting the NAM Output mode to Raw or Calibrated if you use the auto input calibration feature. Settings approximated 0-10 in the following order: Distortion - Depth - Level - Mid Level - Mid Frequency The captures were made with the TTSV10 input file, an experimental training file shared to the NAM community from The Tone Scientist (https://shop.thetonescientist.com/) These were trained with the Standard Architecture at 1000 Epochs.
