EQD Tentacle - Analog octave up - Low ESR

Description

Earthquaker Devices Tentacle - Green Ringer style octave up effect. The pedal has no controls. Sweep was reamped using the Palmer Daccapo Reamp box. Signal was routed through the "Unbuffer" device by DS Custom Audio (FFB-M), a passive box that emulates the output of a single coil pickup. In this case, this resulted in a way better signal to-noise ratio. Effect output was captured in Hi-Z input of Universal Audio 476P soundcard. Gain of channel set to zero, output level of Palmer Daccapo set to result in a just-below-clipping level of the return signal with the Tentacle switched OFF. Preamp emulator and built-in compressor on the soundcard were switched OFF. When rendering the effected output, I normalized it to -4dBTP. ESR = 0.001199
