Description
Emulated Fender Bassman 5F6A; The captures in this series do not feature a simulated cabinet or mic, and should be used with a cabinet IR. The tones in this series are a result of passing the response WAV file from Tone3000 through my offline amp/ effects modeller written in Python. The modeller, being offline, can spend significant effort calculating the non-linear aspects of guitar amplifiers, in the case of Fender Bassman 5F6A simulation I have tried to simulate the pre-amp, tone stack, and power amp sections of the amplifier. I will leave it up to you to determine if it's accurate, at the very least hopefully it sounds good. The NAM profiles in this series do not include the simulated Jensen speakers/ cabinets, so it is best to use a good IR after this amp in the signal chain.
