Description

COMPLEX CAPTURES ARE STILL IN TRAINING, ONLY STD/XREV CAPTURES ARE AVAILABLE FOR NOW. ONCE TRAINING IS FINISHED IN ABOUT TWO TO THREE MONTHS, YOU WILL RECEIVE THE COMPLEX CAPTURES AS WELL !!! !!! ONLY THE FULL AMP CAPTURES WILL BE TRAINED WITH THE COMPLEX ARCHITECTURE !!! This is only a teaser pack. If you like it, please buy the full pack with 101 unique captures via this link: https://ko-fi.com/s/ef96de6c84 This capture pack is based on a handwired FNDR VIBVERB BLACKFACE TAD kit with high quality components. It features 101 unique captures of both the normal and vibrato channels. The tones were dialed in with a Kauffmann vintage style strat with 3 slightly overwound single coil pickups and an Edwards Les Paul with a WCR Green/Moore set. My capture packs are made with the utmost attention to detail and very high quality outboard gear (Neumann MT48 audio interface, Vovox cables, Suhr/St. Rock/UA OX reactive loads, Lehle P-Split III reamp box, serviced amps etc.). The main selling points of my capture packs are: - Very low aliasing due to a much longer training signal - Very high quality captures with extra accuracy in the case of complex captures - All captures are calibrated, no guesswork involved There are also three types of captures in this set: - Standard denoted with an "S" suffix - ReverseXStandard denoted with an "XR" suffix (more accurate, similar CPU hit as Standard) - Complex denoted with a "C" suffix (highest accuracy, highest CPU hit) If your computer can handle it, go for the complex captures, otherwise XR is a reasonable alternative to the standard architecture. Regarding the nomenclature of the captures: N stands for normal channel and V stands for vibrato channel. The channel designation is followed by the volume setting and an EQ setting description. A "B" after the EQ description means that the bright switch was engaged. Lower gain captures are also low in volume, due to their dynamic nature, don't be afraid to turn up the output volume to compensate for it. Signal Chain: Neumann MT48 Line Output -> Lehle P-Split III Reamp Box -> FNDR VIBVERB -> Suhr Reactive Load -> Neumann MT48 Line Input Signal Chain Calibration: +18.22 dBu (Calibration Metadata Included) *** IMPORTANT CALIBRATION INFORMATION *** If you're using the newest NAM player VST, just enable the automatic gain calibration and enter your max input gain number into the little "cablirate input" window. if you want to do it manually, follow this quick guide: - Find your audio interface's max input gain for your Hi-Z input in the manual or online - If your max input gain number is lower than +18.22, then decrease the input gain by the difference between your max input gain and +18.22. - If your max input gain number is higher than +18.22, then increase the input gain by the difference between your max input gain and +18.22. Hope you enjoy this capture pack! If you have any questions or experience any problems, feel free to contact me! Upon payment, you will receive a download link within 48 hours, usually much sooner. By purchasing this NAM capture pack, you agree to the EULA. No refunds.

Hi. Thank you for those new captures. I am a bit suprised by those I must admit, it sounds real "harsh" and distorted, even with volume at 5. I tried different IRs, at first I thought something was wrong with my config, but no, it sounds exactly the same on tone3000 preview. I guess i was expecting something close to typical blackface clean tone, it's really far from it, and far from the idea I had of Vibroverb from video demos. Are those selected captures different from the amp tone overall? Is it more "mellow" at lower volume?

Do you have any thoughts on what to set the gain on the Dimehead Nam player at?
