Description

An unbelievably bright sounding amp - even coming from an AC30 lover... Absolutely kicks ass when dimed though!! We're not sure what this amp is. As the story goes, we acquired it from a man named Martin who once owned Sound City as well as having connections to the names above. This amp cuts through like no other and compliments dark guitar tones when used in stereo or even double tracked in a mix. We adore this amp and feel privileged to have the opportunity to plug into it. Looking forward to doing a massive capture of this model in the near future so watch this space! In the meantime... Enjoy our Prototype! Mic'd with SM57 and R121 going into some nice, though unfamiliar to me, Universal Audio 610 preamps... warm preamps certainly needed for this one. Uncalibrated as we didn't have time though probably close to 12.5dBu on both ends if I'm estimating...
