Great for classic early heavy blues rock and metal inspired tones. I did have Tony Iommi / Early Black Sabbath in mind, but to get much closer to that exact tone you'll probably want to do some adjusting to nail it, and perhaps add a treble booster and some appropriate IRs. Among other things, Iommi tuned his guitars down to C#/D standard, I believe, so that'll help you in your quest too.
