Mesa Express 5:25 1x12 Combo fitted with a 2016 Celestion G12M Greenback, 8 ohm, in place of the stock V30. This is my standard clean recording setting, a versatile pedal platform for all styles, usually set to about 85 dB in the room (power amp not cranked). With single coil pickups and no boost/overdrive it will stay clean almost to max preamp gain. Mic'd with a Sennheiser e906, presence switch in the middle (flat) position, placed about 2.5 cm / 1" away from the edge of the dustcap. Control settings are... Channel 1, Clean, 25 watt mode, Reverb and contour OFF Gain 1:00 Treble 2:00 Mid 10:30 Bass 9:00 Master 9:00
