Description

The circuit is done now. Thanks to all who followed this totally planned, not at all accidental process of public amp development.* Bright, unpleasantly marshally sounds to annoy the neighbours. The "Halvkram"** amp is an attempt to recreate the rock guitar sound I hear in my head - the kind that feels like it's in your face and up your nose no matter how far back in the mix it is. This is a work in progress; both the amp and the capture pack. (not anymore it isn't) Captures trained with xSTD architecture and TTSV10 input signal. Reamps done with Creampie load box, which mimics a seventies marshall 412 with T1220 greenbacks, so I recommend using a good quality 412 greenback IR. The Neutron Quantum Speaker greenback is also highly recommended. *Clarification: The intention from the beginning was to keep this pack private, and use it for development purposes. I just forgot to set it to "private". When I realised what had happened several people had already downloaded the first model, which was a stress test and not meant to be useful. The reamping and training process is actually pretty good at sniffing out intermittent oscillation issues, etc, that can be difficult to find by just playing the amp at normal/sane signal levels, so a test like this can be quite useful on a new amp build. I removed the first model, but then decided to just go with it - the models that are now in this pack represent different settings of different iterations of the final fine tuning process. They are _not_ dialed in to sound good. The capture labelled "final" is the last one I will add to this pack. It's a little noisy, hissy, and a little off from the real amp, but it will do for now. There may be a proper pack of captures of this amp at a later stage, when I get to know it better. **"Halvkram" is a norwegian term used to describe the state of snow where you can make snowballs with a bit of effort. It is also a slang term used to describe the state of something else. I think the english equivalent would be a "semi".
