Description

AMP head capture of an Orange Micro Terror. The signal is split using a Millenium DI-33 Active DI Box: One signal goes directly into the Scarlett Solo as a clean DI reference, while the second signal is routed into the Orange Micro Terror. The amp’s headphone output is then sent back into the Scarlett Solo for recording. For this capture, I used a Fender P-Bass equipped with Seymour Duncan SPB-3 Quarter Pound pickups. This is my first experiment with amp capturing. Luckily, the headphone output does not have an integrated cab sim, which makes it easy to pair the amp with different cabinet simulations. Combined with a bass-heavy Ampeg 8x10 cab sim, this setup delivers a really cool sound. O‘Clock settings.
