!!! IMPORTANT: CAPTURES ARE CALIBRATED FOR +18.22 dBu (YOU MIGHT NEED TO TURN THE INPUT GAIN DOWN A LOT, SEE NOTES BELOW) !!!
!!! USE THE NAM PLAYER AUTOMATIC CALIBRATION FOR CORRECT GAIN !!!
!!! COMPLEX CAPTURES ARE STILL IN TRAINING, ONLY STD/XREV CAPTURES ARE AVAILABLE FOR NOW. ONCE TRAINING IS FINISHED IN ABOUT TWO TO THREE MONTHS, YOU WILL RECEIVE THE COMPLEX CAPTURES AS WELL !!!
This is only a teaser pack, you can buy the full pack here:

This capture pack with 107 unique captures is based on a Peavey Ultra Plus 120W 6L6 amp with new filter capacitors and powertubes.
To dial in the tones, I've used a superstrat with a JB in bridge position and an Edwards Les Paul with a WCR Green/Moore set.
Furthermore, I've used the Fortin Grind, Boss SD-1 and the JHS PackRat pedal for some of the captures in order to achieve tighter and gainier tones.
My capture packs are made with the utmost attention to detail and very high quality outboard gear (Neumann MT48 audio interface, Vovox cables, Suhr/St. Rock/UA OX reactive loads, Lehle P-Split III reamp box, serviced amps etc.).
The main selling points of my capture packs are:
- Very low aliasing due to a much longer training signal
- Very high quality captures with extra accuracy in the case of complex captures
- All captures are calibrated, no guesswork involved
There are also three types of captures in this set:
- Standard denoted with an "S" suffix
- ReverseXStandard denoted with an "XR" suffix (more accurate, similar CPU hit as Standard)
- Complex denoted with a "C" suffix (highest accuracy, highest CPU hit)
If your computer can handle it, go for the complex captures, otherwise XR is a reasonable alternative to the standard architecture.
Regarding the nomenclature of the captures:
This amp has 3 main channels (Clean, Crunch, Ultra) and a plus mode for the two gain channels. Each capture starts with the channel (Clean, C = Crunch, U = Ultra), followed by the gain setting and a brief EQ setting description.
The penultimate letter denotes the resonance switch setting. L stands for Loose, which has the most amount of resonance, M stands for Medium, which has an average amount of resonance and T stands for Tight with the least amount of resonance.
I personally only use M and T settings, L can be nice with guitars that lack bass.
Clean captures are low in volume due to their dynamic nature, don't be afraid to turn up the output volume to compensate for it.
Signal Chain: Neumann MT48 Line Output -> Lehle P-Split III Reamp Box -> PVY ULTRA+ -> Suhr Reactive Load -> Neumann MT48 Line Input
Signal Chain Calibration: +18.22 dBu (Calibration Metadata Included)
*** IMPORTANT CALIBRATION INFORMATION ***
If you're using the newest NAM player VST, just enable the automatic gain calibration and enter your max input gain number into the little "cablirate input" window. if you want to do it manually, follow this quick guide:
- Find your audio interface's max input gain for your Hi-Z input in the manual or online
- If your max input gain number is lower than +18.22, then decrease the input gain by the difference between your max input gain and +18.22.
- If your max input gain number is higher than +18.22, then increase the input gain by the difference between your max input gain and +18.22.
