Superdrive Variations: Friedman, Naylor, and Budda Version 2

I had a few issues with my Version 1 captures, these are much more representative of the amps. Super secret capture information: Always check your cables to make sure you didn't grab a bad one during a capture session! Everyone loves a good JCM800 mod! This is a good sampler of some rare and chunky amps. My favorite is the original Naylor Super-Drive 60 circuit but the other two are brighter and tighter. The Naylor is very dark but very smooth, it has some proper bite but not as much top end as the Friedman. The Friedman is a bit different, tighter low end, more gain, and a little more fizz on the very top end. The Budda has a good mix of AC30 and a bit of JTM45 mixed in that separates it from the the rest of the bunch. It sounds relatively thin on the Vintage settings. Something to keep in mind when you are boosting it. Bring along your favorite IRs, reverb, delays, and pitch effects for some APC fun.
