Description

1990s era Trace Elliot AH500X amplifier through similar vintage Trace Elliot 1248H cabinet. Captured with a Lewitt Flex 441 microphone. AH500 pre-shape enabled. Slight mid bump on EQ to pull mid scoop flatter. This amp is inherently strong in the midrange from 200-800Hz, especially strong around 300-500Hz. Pre-shape is a dramatic V-shape around 340Hz, with a bump around 100Hz and shelving from 800-1.5KHz and beyond.
