Circuit-wise this pedal is kind of a mixture between the two. You can use the gain control in place of it to obtain pretty much the same result. Volume instead was on 10 on all captures, since it doesn't affect the pedal's tone you can use the level control on the NAM plugin/hardware loader in place of it. When using the calibration, consider 0 dB on the output level of the plugin as the max volume setting on the pedal, iow you can turn it down but don't turn it up if you want to keep it accurate to the real pedal.
