Free Custom Cab IR For VOX AC30 TOP BOOST This IRs are made using our custom cab for our FREE Vox AC30 Top Boost DI. We use multiple mics and mic placement at the same time when capturing. Typically we use 2-5 mics and we blend them together to create one cohesive sound. We use typical studio mics for miking an amp and also UAD, Acustica Lava and Slate hardware and mic-modelling systems. Giving us access to tons of microphone models in a few clicks of a button. This allowed us to blend the most suitable mic models for the best tone possible. This process takes a lot of time to get right but this is the best way to achieve the most authentic and inspiring tones possible.
