Description

Devi Ever FX: Shoe Gazer Fuzz (Direct DI Capture) This capture features the legendary Devi Ever Shoe Gazer, a dual-circuit fuzz powerhouse that defined the sound of modern shoegaze and indie rock. This is a Direct (DI) capture, pair it with your favorite IR (Greenbacks or V30s recommended) for the full experience. The Circuits The Shoe Gazer is essentially two distinct fuzz circuits in one box that can be stacked for sonic mayhem: Soda Meiser (SM): Known for its massive, muff-like sustain and versatile clipping. It can go from heavy garage rock to oscillating chaos. Torn's Peaker (TP): A brighter, more biting fuzz with a distinct "broken" or "lo-fi" texture that cuts through any mix. These models were captured using high-end Audient iD44. Soda Meiser (SM) +10.4 dBu Thick, saturated, and crushing low-end. Currently having issue being able to capture the TP side as it's very harsh and has a lot of noise.
