Fortin Nameless X + Kristian Kohle Rainbows/Chainsaws IR (Modern Standard)

Thought I would contribute and took some captures of the Nameless X that make sense, EQ-wise. If you push presence or treble past 6 in my experience, and even up to 6, it can get very hissy. Add in the Grind Pedal past noon and the distortion gets quacky so I tend not to use it as often as the Hex Pedal. All captures have the gain staging set at 10 (gain II) and 6 (gain I). The captures with the Hex Pedal (no Grind) or Grind Pedal (no Hex) each have these settings: Preamp Volume - 5 Presence - 2 Bass - 4 Middle - 6 Treble - 4 The remainder of the captures have the EQs listed in the names. The IR is from the Kristian Kohle Rainbows + Chainsaws IR pack, which I highly recommend purchasing because they have included EQ, etc built in to be mix-ready and in addition to the fantastic tones in each pack they pair together very well. As of today (07/27/26) Bogren Digital is having a sale. The IR is from the Rainbows pack called Modern Standard - essentially a Mesa Oversized 4x12 with an SM57. There are many more unique IRs included but figured this is the best starting place for metal players. Hope you enjoy.
