Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier (DI Sample Pack)

The Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier is one of the most iconic high-gain amplifiers ever created. Known for its massive low end, aggressive attack, scooped mids, and harmonically rich distortion, the Dual Rectifier helped define the sound of modern rock and metal throughout the 1990s and beyond. From tight rhythm tones to soaring lead sounds, the Rectifier remains a benchmark for players seeking crushing yet articulate high-gain tones. This sample pack showcases the amp across its different channels and gain structures. The captures include low-gain, mid-gain, and high-gain settings, with the amplifier's parameters adjusted and optimized at each gain stage to ensure the best possible performance and tonal balance as the amount of gain increases. This particular Rectifier is from around 2004. All captures were created using high-grade cables and a Two Notes Captor X+ reactive load box to ensure maximum accuracy and consistency throughout the capture process. In addition to the direct captures, the pack also includes versions captured through two different speaker cabinets, providing additional flavors and flexibility for your playing, recording, or profiling workflow.
