Description

I made Amp Head captures of my Mesa Dual Rectifier Multi-Watt head’s Red Modern mode while it was connected to my Mesa Traditional 4x12 with V30s. I took the 6 settings that I used in my first Recto MW Modern Mode pack and retrained them with the following loads: -Suhr Reactive Load (SRL Suffix) to take advantage of my recently upgraded audio path -Mesa Traditional 4x12 (4FB Suffix) for the ideal load to this amp. Theoretically will perform accurately with Mesa 4x12 V30 IRs You can easily scroll through loads in the plugin. Consider it an extra tone control. I took one of the settings and boosted with a few pedals. SRL and 4FB load versions available as well. The filenames reference the following abbreviations: TLDX - Wampler Tumnus Deluxe SD1 - Boss SD-1 OD808 - Maxon OD808 TMB-66, TMB-73 - Keeley Time Machine Boost 1966 and 1973 modes The gain on the amp was set at 7, which should be enough for late 90s/early 2000s rock. Boosting the capture can bring the sounds into metalcore territory. I had to retrain the Amp Head captures to the A2 format for this pack. Luckily, I still had the reamp files. I experimented with shortening the TTSV10 training file and my wet reamps. The TTSV10 input file was from The Tone Scientist. The latest iteration is the TTSV11 file, shortened for A2 training, which you can find on the NAM Facebook group. https://shop.thetonescientist.com/ I am trying to clear my V10 queue to start experimenting with the V11 file. Full Rig Signal Chain: RME UCX II Line Out – United Studio Technology Replay Box at 11.5dBu - Mesa Dual Rectifier Multi-Watt - Suhr Reactive Load Thru - Mesa Traditional 4x12 Cabinet – Celestion V30 - Shure SM57 - CAPI VP28 - RME UCX II Line In at 11.7dBu The Suhr Reactive Load was used to take a tap of the Full Rig signal chain to make the Amp Head Captures. I had the A1 versions of the unboosted 4FB loaded captures (6 captures) if anyone has any use for them. Input/output calibration metadata for 11.5dBu send/11.7dBu return was filled in during TONE3000 training.
