Description

This is a Little transistor radio from the sixties made by Siemens converted into a guitar amp. Mods done: Added a JFET input stage, changed the first transistor stage from germanium to silicon for less noise, some cap values has been altered to have more gain and a better frequency response. versions 1 to 6 have been recorded with progressively louder output from the audio interface (version 6 had the interface output cranked, really brings out the compression and dynamic response of the amp). The output of the amp is fed into a homemade load box with line out, the audio interface used is a Motu M2
