Ampeg PF-20T 2021

The killer feature of this little amp is the inclusion of both a preamp line out and an output transformer DI. The preamp line out can be toggled between Pre/Post EQ, and sits right after the 12AX7 preamp tubes. The transformer line out takes a tap off the output transformer, and includes the 6V6 power tubes. It's pretty versatile. Each of the included settings has a capture from BOTH of the amp's line outs. This frees you up to use one for drive / effects, and its twin in parallel for the base tone. The signal chain for all captures was Tascam US 4x4 HR interface > Radial Pro-RMP > PF-20T > XFMR-DI + PREAMP-DI > Interface. Both line outs on the amp provide a fairly hot signal, so barely any input gain was used on the return to the interface. Short 10ft XLR cables were also used in this capture.
