Description
This is the famous 5E3 Tweed circuit known for its incredible crunch tone. But the interaction between the INST volume and the MIC volume also allows for some really great clean tones. I captured 3 channels: INST1, MIC1, and JMP. Both the instrument and mic channel captures are from inputs 1, which are the high volume input. To simulate input 2, I would lower the input gain in NAM by 6 dB, which is equivalent to the reduction in signal of input 2 on the real amp. JMP is input 1 on the INST channel, with MIC1 and INST2 jumped with a patch cable; this is where the greatest drive tone comes from. These are captured with a larger network (around 30k params), so it does require more CPU to playback.
