Description

A late-'70s/early-'80s hard rock crunch, inspired by the rhythm tone of Back in Black. Tight lows, open mids, enough hair to let power chords ring — cleans up nicely with your guitar volume. Mic'd with SM57 + Beyerdynamic M160 ribbon, through my usual studio chain (Chandler TG2 → Neve 551 → Radial passive mixer → WesAudio NG76).
