Retake of Hi-Gain '90 — freshly recaptured and improved. Bogner Ecstasy 101B, Red channel, straight into the amp with no pedals up front. A wide, balanced high-gain rhythm sound: the low end tight and supportive, while a touch of upper midrange keeps power chords cutting through a dense mix. Think early-'90s instrumental guitar records. Includes two versions: the standard capture, and a brighter variant with more top-end air for cutting through denser mixes. Pick whichever sits best in your track. Mic'd with SM57 + Beyerdynamic M160 ribbon, through my usual studio chain (Chandler TG2 → Neve 551 → Radial passive mixer → WesAudio NG76).
