Darkglass Anagram Now Connects Directly to TONE3000

Darkglass just released KosmOS 1.17 for Anagram, expanding its integration with TONE3000.

Anagram natively supports NAM A2, widely considered the most accurate and best-sounding modeling technology on the market. With this update, Darkglass takes that support even further.

You can now browse TONE3000 directly in the Darkglass Suite, then load tones onto your Anagram. The update also removes the previous fixed limit on simultaneous NAM instances, giving you far more flexibility when building complex chains.

Browse TONE3000 From Darkglass Suite

Adding new tones through Darkglass Suite is simple:

Connect your Anagram to your computer over USB-C.
Open Darkglass Suite and navigate to the TONE3000 tab.
Sign in to your TONE3000 account.
Browse and download captures or tone packs.
Load your selection onto Anagram.

No more browsing on a separate website, downloading files, importing them, and manually syncing them to your device. Find the tones you want in Darkglass Suite and send them straight to Anagram.

A New TONE3000 Block on Anagram

Darkglass and TONE3000 collaborated on a new interface designed specifically for Anagram, bringing a dedicated TONE3000 block into the chain builder.

The interface lets you browse tone packs with gear images, tone details, and creator attribution, filter between NAM captures and IRs, and easily switch between captures within a tone pack.

You can also favorite tones directly from the TONE3000 block so they appear higher in your list.

NAM captures include input and output controls, while IRs include blend and level controls. Both also include a built-in six-band EQ for shaping your sound.

Everything lives in one block, making it faster to audition tones, make adjustments, and build chains without leaving Anagram.

Demo Tones Included

The TONE3000 block comes with demo tone packs preloaded on Anagram, so you can start exploring immediately.

Darkglass and TONE3000 worked together to select packs from creators who granted permission for their tones to ship on the device. The included tones span amps, pedals, outboard gear, and more, giving you plenty to explore right away.

More NAM in a Single Chain

There’s no fixed limit to the number of TONE3000 NAM blocks you can add to a chain. Instead, use Anagram’s DSP meter to see how much processing power is available as you build.

In our testing, Anagram can safely run up to:

5 NAM A2-Full captures simultaneously
9 NAM A2-Lite captures simultaneously

The exact number depends on the other blocks, effects, and plugins in your chain.

That’s a major jump from the three simultaneous NAM instances introduced with Anagram’s original NAM A2 integration.

Powered by the TONE3000 API

This integration is powered by the TONE3000 API, which lets hardware and software makers bring NAM captures, IRs, and the TONE3000 account experience directly into their products.

Users can sign in, access their tones, discover new ones, and load them without leaving the product.
