HeadRush Brings TONE3000 to their Entire Multi-Effects Lineup
Browse TONE3000's massive library of tones directly on the touchscreen of the HeadRush Prime, Core, and Flex Prime pedals.
Today, HeadRush is bringing native Neural Amp Modeler (NAM) support and direct TONE3000 access to their entire multi-effects lineup.
With the free HeadRush 5.1 firmware update, you can now browse TONE3000's massive library of NAM captures and impulse responses directly on the touchscreen of the HeadRush Prime, Core, and Flex Prime pedals. Find a tone, load it into your rig, and start playing. You don't need to download files, use a computer, or transfer anything over bluetooth or USB.
If you already own one of these pedals, you can start now. The integration is a free update.

"We're excited to partner with TONE3000 and Steve Atkinson to bring native NAM support to the HeadRush platform. Prime, Core, and Flex Prime users will be able to load NAM captures directly to their rigs, with no lossy conversion. Our touchscreen and integrated Wi-Fi will also provide onboard access to TONE3000's growing library, making it easy to discover, download, and start playing with NAM captures directly on your HeadRush pedal."
Walter Skorupski, Senior Product Manager, HeadRush
"Less than two months after we launched NAM A2, HeadRush's entire multi-effects lineup has become the first to let you browse the full TONE3000 library directly from the device's screen. And with the Flex Prime available for just $499, making music is more accessible than ever."
Stanley Vergilis, Co-Founder and CEO, TONE3000

TONE3000 Is Built Directly Into HeadRush
TONE3000 just passed 500,000 tones created by our community of musicians, audio engineers, producers, and sound designers. That entire library of amps, amp + cabs, guitar and bass pedals, speaker cabinets, acoustic spaces, and weird experimental captures is now free on HeadRush devices. Our community adds more every day, so your pedal only gets better as TONE3000 grows.
Here are some of the sick tones you can load on the HeadRush right now:

HeadRush Supports NAM A2
Last month, TONE3000 launched Neural Amp Modeler (NAM) A2, the next generation of the open source modeling technology. According to our testing, it is the most accurate and best sounding amp modeling technology ever.
We ran a series of quantitative tests alongside a 1000 person blind listening test using the MUSHRA methodology. NAM A2 beat Neural DSP V2, IK Multimedia ToneX V2, and Line 6 Proxy by a wide margin across every test. Read NAM A2: The Complete Guide for the full methodology and results.
"We poured so much into A2 so it could run on hardware people already own, not just whatever ships next year. Devices like the Flex Prime keep getting more capable instead of getting left behind. It's genuinely rewarding to see that pay off."
Woodbury Shortridge, Co-Founder and CTO, TONE3000
Amp Modeler Blind Listening Test
Over 1,000 participants compared recordings of real gear to anonymized digital models using the MUSHRA blind listening methodology. Higher scores mean the model was rated as sounding closer to the original amp, pedal, or signal chain.
Why Native NAM Support Matters
NAM is free, open source modeling technology that captures the tone and dynamic response of real analog gear like amps, pedals, outboard gear, and even full signal chains.
Some companies claim to support NAM but actually convert NAM files into proprietary formats. Those conversions aren't real NAM captures, and they don't deliver the same sound quality or accuracy.
HeadRush runs NAM natively, with no conversion. This means your tones will sound amazing and stay compatible with the open NAM ecosystem.

Powered by the TONE3000 API
HeadRush has integrated the TONE3000 API, which lets plugins, pedals, and amps bring the TONE3000 library and account experience directly into their products. New tones and updates flow automatically, so the HeadRush pedals keep getting better as TONE3000 grows.
If you're a hardware or software maker who wants to bring TONE3000 to your platform, check out our API documentation.

The HeadRush Lineup
All three HeadRush pedals run NAM A2 natively and connect to TONE3000 over Wi-Fi. They share the same processing engine, so the difference comes down to screen size, footswitch count, and I/O.
