Description

A 70,000-gallon concrete water tank in the woods on Burnt Mountain, Georgia. Sam Tate built it in the late 1920s to supply Tate Mountain Estates, a mountain resort for wealthy Atlantans that the Depression killed off a few years later. Empty and deserted for nearly 100 years. Damp and swampy inside and mostly full of spiders and old beer cans from teens. Sine sweep, captured in stereo on a Zoom handheld.
