I’ve been obsessed with every facet of the music world since I was a kid. As the head of Artist Relations at Avid for 11 years, I spent countless hours in the studio with some of the world’s biggest producers. As the bass player in struggling indie bands (mostly with Loquat), I’ve also spent countless hours in stinky vans and divey venues. These days, I enjoy writing about guitar stuff, playing guitar, thinking about guitar, twiddling knobs on my gear, and occassionally picking up the bass so it doesn't get too jealous of the guitar.
