At Open Plan Recording, we’ve engineered microphones with one clear goal: to deliver the ultimate in affordable, high-performance sound. We’re not just about quality; we’re about providing the perfect balance of superior sound and unmatched value. Every detail is crafted with the most sonically important elements prioritized, ensuring you get the best possible bang for your buck. Our microphones are the result of years of extensive research and hands-on experience with classic vintage European microphones. By combining this expertise with modern innovation, we’ve created boutique-quality microphones at an accessible price—designed to rival or even surpass the performance of world-renowned legends. What Sets Us Apart While many pro audio companies outsource their components, we take pride in building our own capsules and circuits right here in Australia. Our high-end models are meticulously crafted to meet the highest standards, but we also offer budget-friendly options that deliver exceptional quality. Plus, these budget models are built to evolve with you—easily modifiable and upgradable to grow alongside your creative journey. For over a decade, O.P.R Microphones has been serving the music community, and we’re here to help you achieve the best sound possible. Let us know how we can assist you!
