Description
The Adres AD-3 is a noise reduction system for tape recorders, produced by the Japanese manufacturer Toshiba. These are NAM profiles of the encoded and decoded sounds for both the L and R channels. It can actually reduce tape hiss. Route the signal into the first NAM instance (Adres AD-3 Encode.L) with input set to 0 and output set to 0. Then send the signal to a tape recorder or a tape plugin. (At this stage, do not let it saturate! Otherwise, the decoding will not work correctly.) Finally, route the signal into the next NAM instance (Adres AD-3 Decode.L) with input set to 0 and output set to 5.7 (Adres AD-3 Encode then decode L) : decoded the encoded test tone directly.
