Crate V33H 2007

Sweep file out of Presonus Quantum interface, into Zvex Super Hard On boost pedal to buffer, into amp input. Speaker output into Nux Solid Studio (bypassed) on Speaker mode, output back into Quantum. Controls set as shown in image. This amp and other Crate tube amps pair well with Celestion Seventy 80 (aka P80, aka Crate Palomino etc branded) guitar speakers. The Crate's toyish midrange honk, and the Seventy-80's rough-edged scoop, complement each other. The Seventy-80 is often found cheaply on the used market. My aim is to capture the sweet clean pedal-platform tone of the Crate, drop it into my GP-5 etc., to then run it into a more neutral solid state power amp that can then be plugged into a Celestion 70-80 cabinet.
