Description

1969 Marshall® JMP Super Lead A capture inspired by the legendary 1969 Marshall® JMP Super Lead — raw, open, aggressive, and packed with classic British harmonic grind. This tone delivers the unmistakable Plexi-style punch: tight but organic lows, a strong woody midrange, cutting upper mids, and that explosive high-end presence that responds beautifully to pick attack and guitar volume. Push it hard for thick classic-rock crunch, roll your guitar volume back for surprisingly articulate cleans, or hit the front end with a boost for a more aggressive modern bite. Tone Character Vintage British Plexi crunch Open, dynamic response Rich harmonic overtones Punchy low end Aggressive upper-mid cut Excellent cleanup from the guitar volume Takes overdrive and boost pedals extremely well Perfect for classic rock, hard rock, doom, stoner rock, traditional metal, and boosted modern metal tones. Captured to retain the raw feel, dynamics, and attitude that made late-'60s Super Leads legendary. The capture was made on a 4x12 Closed-back cabinet loaded with Celestion Alnico Gold speakers.
