ART T8

Art T8 8-Channel Transformer / Isolator. Signal is first going through a modular synth input module to bump up the voltage for driving the transformers harder, and get less los, then it's daisy chained from one channel to another. 2 variants of all 8 channels daisy chained, and 4 channels, with swapped order of the channels. The 4 channels version were 20db higher in level when capturing, and probably the most mojo comes from the first transformers with high level.They don't distort that much unless you really crank up the input level, but there seems to be some compression, and a sligth low and high frequency roll-off.
