Description

Black Arts Toneworks Pharaoh fuzz pedal capture. Pharaoh is a really good sounding and surprisingly versatile fuzz that works well on both, guitar and bass. These captures are made using the sweep method, Palmer Trave reamp box, Millenium DI-E and a Behringer UMC404 interface. Trained on 200 epoch. Tone & High knobs are hard set to two o'clock, except in the maxxed out captures. Both HI and LO settings modeled. Diode Clipping modes: GER = Asymmetric Germanium SIL = Silicone NO = No Diodes Fuzz levels: 1 = Noon 2 = Two o'clock 3 = Max It is not possible to capture all the sounds from the pedal, so please support Black Arts Toneworks and buy the hardware pedal from here: https://www.blackartstoneworks.com/pedal/pharaoh/

I'm not completely satisfied with these captures compared to the real unit. I'm not sure if fuzzes are hard to profile or if the passive DI took some high frequencies out. While these catures can be useful and do sound good, they are not close to the original, especially in the higher frequencies.

All of the models are now re-captured with a DI-box after the pedal. Previous models had too poor signal-to-noise ratio.
