Description

The Boss DS-1 Distortion, one of the most loved and hated pedals of all time. A few things to keep in mind: 1/ The DS-1 likes low to mid output pickups, high output pickups make it squishy. 2/ The DS-1 doesn't like super clean amps, it likes to take amps that already have some dirt on them and push them over the edge. 3/ The Tone control has a huge range, it gets VERY bright, which is great if you are pushing an amp with a dark tone, at the lower settings it gets very dark which works with brighter amp sounds. 4/ It ain't subtle. No transparent gentleness here. 26 Captures at various setting from dark to bright.
