Description

Bray 2022 (HX) The **Bray 2022** is a hand-wired, point-to-point custom Plexi-style amplifier designed by David Bray. Delivering 22 watts of output powered by a pair of 6V6 power tubes, three ECC83 preamp tubes, and a GZ34 rectifier, it captures the iconic warmth, dynamic punch, and classic "Brown Sound" harmonic crunch of a cranked vintage stack at manageable stage and studio volume levels. Built on a gold 16-gauge zinc-plated steel chassis with custom Heyboer transformers, it features precision filament wiring to eliminate AC hum, a 3-way standby switch selecting between tube and solid-state rectification, and flexible channel control with optional high-gain "Plus Mode" cascading for rich, singing lead tones.
