Celestion G12-100 Raven

I borrowed the Raven to try it out. Sounds cool, like an amalgamation of H Creamback and UK V30, at least to my ears. Less middy than V30, but a bit sizzl like H Cream. Interestingly, it records quite well, different mic placements don’t affect the sound as much as on other speakers. Signal chain: Wave Arts IR Capture -> SSL2 -> Sansamp VT 500 solid state power amp section -> Marshall 2536 Silver Jubilee cab -> SM57 Three IR’s: edge of dust cap, in the middle of the cone and almost edge of the cone.
