The wimpy EL84s are gone, replaced with a proper pair of EL34s pushing around 35 to 40 clean, punchy watts through the original iron for massive low-end thump, serious headroom, and true British roar. Under the hood, the preamp blends the best bits of the legendary Friedman BE and JEL circuits with a few custom tweaks for a punchier pick attack. It nails that sweet spot between a tight JCM800 roar and greasy hot-rodded Marshall madness, backed by an added Jose-style Sat switch for instant 80s diode-clipping filth, extra compression, and singing sustain. Capture Settings: Captured straight into the sweet spot with the EQ stack (Bass, Middle, Treble) and Presence all parked dead-center at 12 o'clock, and the Master cranked to 11 o'clock to get those EL34s breathing hard and delivering pure, unfiltered power-amp punch. Super articulate, tight bottom end, and ready to rip.
