Guess ill be the dank captures of cheap gear that doesn't suck guy... Coming soon, my modified landtone analogue fuzz pedal (my favorite fuzz). I think ive come up with a very clever way to capture the relationship an analogue fuzz has with the impedance of the guitar and the amplifier using wet/dry capture methods. It's gonna take some trial and error though. -------- This Dean is currently my preferred, at-home, clean pedal amp over the blues jr believe it or not. Speaker is a vintage 35w alnico jensen. captured with an audio technica at2020, my favorite mic for playing with time based post-fx on a clean guitar tone in my daw. Somehow i achieved a lower A2 light ESR then for a2 standard model using a condenser. The room is indeed very dead though. Something i never noticed til i made this capture (and yes, its in the real amp too) you can just barely, faintly hear the drive channel underneath the clean channel. The capture nailed something i never even noticed was there before. It's drive channel is pretty terrible, but its clean channel reminds me of the Roland solid state guitar amps and it takes pedals just as well. unlike a Roland though, i got it at a pawn shop about 5 years ago in kansas city for $35 The jensen makes this combo's clean tone actually worth sharing. Ive played other k series DM amps that didnt feel or sound nearly as good to play and i credit the jensen speaker as it was in it when i bought it. Bought it for the speaker to put in my blues Jr, and just never took it out.
