Digitech GFX1 Twin Tube Preamp

The DigiTech GFX1 is a vintage 1U rackmount guitar preamp and multi-effects processor released around 1991. • Tube Preamp Section: Powered by two 12AX7 vacuum tubes in a 4-stage tube circuit, it offers both clean and driven tube voicings with adjustable gain and saturation. It was built to compete with or emulate popular tube preamps of the era like the ADA MP-1 and MP-2, though it gained a reputation for excelling particularly at thick mid-gain overdrive and hard rock/metal rhythms. • Onboard Effects: Features a multi-effects engine that included a compressor, noise gate, 7-to-8 band graphic EQ, a speaker simulator, and a choice of digital modulation or time-based effects (such as digital chorus, flanger, or digital delay up to 500ms). **Presets EQ and Compression Engaged** **All Wet Effects and Noise Gate Bypassed**
