Description

I built a vero board clone of a Catalonbread Naga Viper MKI boost pedal several years back. It’s based on a Rangemaster circuit, reworked for a 2N2222A silicon transistor with an extra control to turn it into a broad range boost. I’m providing 2 captures for boosting the Vox AC15C1 Normal Channel captures that I’m concurrently uploading. It’s rather hissy when cranked this way, but I was able to get tones reminiscent of other clips of Treble boosted Voxes. Signal Chain: DIYRE L2A Reamp - Naga Viper Clone - Suhr Reactive Load - Steinberg UR824 set at 11.5dB Knob order is as follows, with more understandable descriptions in parentheses: Boost (Output Level) - Heat (Gain) - Range (Tone)
