Egnater Vengeance EQ

This tone was created using an ESP Eclipse II guitar tuned to Drop A. The signal chain consisted of an Ibanez TS808, an Egnater Vengeance amplifier (running at 120W), and an Egnater Tourmaster 4x12 cabinet loaded with Celestion V30 speakers. Two microphones were used: an sE Electronics VR1 ribbon mic and a Sennheiser e906 positioned at the edge of the dust cap. Both mics were fed into a Behringer Xenyx802S mixer for slight EQ adjustments, then routed to an Audient iD48 interface and recorded in Logic Pro; there, a FabFilter Pro-Q4 was applied to clean up certain resonances, and a Waves SSL G-Channel was used to add a touch of "air."
