ENGL Fireball 25

This is a set of captures using a Nano Cortex as reamp box. I've started using an EQ pedal in the loop to lift some frequencies instead of mostly cutting, inspired by Nollys EQ tweaks in the mentioned on a video detailing updates to his plugin. This gives a more aggressive and in-your-face tone and leaves a lot of room for surgical cuts in DAW when recording. ENGL FB25 Lead - Leaner Gain Boosted Bright and snappy but with a bit of heft. Horizon Devices Precision Drive: Attack 2 Vol 6 Bright 5 Drive 0 Lead Channel Gain 5, B6 M4 T6 V4 M2 P4 Mid Boost OFF Ibanez PTEQ: cut 250Hz, boost 400, 4K and 8K ENGL FB25 Lead - Smooth Boosted Mids forward and made for bright leads. Low pass for increased smoothness. Horizon Devices Precision Drive: Attack 1 Vol 6 Bright 5 Drive 1 Lead channel Gain 6, B6M6T7 V4 M2 P3, Mid Boost OFF Ibanez PTEQ: cut 250Hz, boost 400, 4K and 8K ENGL FB25 Clean - Cleanest Bright Good with high output humbuckers for clean sounds. Clean channel Gain 2, B6M3T6 M2 P6, Mid Boost OFF All captured with ENGL 1x12 V30 speaker via a Neural DSP Nano Cortex.
