Description

Capture of my Flickinger Angry Sparrow My main Fuzz/Distortion pedal, I use this on every track with my post-metal band CORBACS (Spotify link below). It’s raw, open, cuts through the mix effortlessly, and packs a ton of bite. I captured my personal sweet-spot setting for a thick, mean "fuzz-stortion" sound. Pro tip: stack a light overdrive in front of it for extra magic! Captured using the dry/wet method with a mix of pickups: a Gibson Les Paul Custom (humbuckers), a Fano JM6 (P90s), and a Fender Strat (single coils), to give the capture a broad dynamic range.
