The Friedman BE-100 Deluxe is a flagship of modern British tone, a hand-wired, 100-watt EL34-powered amp capable of everything from Plexi-style cleans to the tight, articulate high-gain sounds that defined a generation of rock and metal. All captures were level-matched and calibrated to +12.5 dBu using a Universal Audio Apollo x6 to maintain a consistent input reference. For best results, use a properly gain-staged DI signal. Input level directly affects gain, dynamics, and overall tonal balance.
