Golden Metal IR

This is kind of an irregular type of IR, or strays from my usual metal-chug type of tone. I created this IR for riffs like 'Don't fear the Reaper' where the single string chords ring into each other. Most IR's sound muddy in the low end when you play lower notes and only the high notes ring out. So I designed it so the lower notes would be as loud as the high notes, or I tried to even them out as much as possible. It also has rich harmonics and clear mids. It's blended with 2 IR's (spent an hour searching for the right ones) and carefully EQ'd them with IRDX. Came out pretty really nice, and yes is does chug, especially if you use NadIR and crank the resonance knob. You still need to use the right NAM capture or Amp sim, something mid gain, too much gain will just sound like a wall of notes and they will not cut through. But it also works great for high gain.
