Description
This is a Test of one of the various capture methods I have been experimenting with high gain amps. Using a Joyo FireBrand as a guinea pig for this one I have captured multiple times with the standard T3K sweep and also the TTS sweep. Joyo FireBrand was the choice for this test as it does not play as nice as some amps with the training due to the silly amount of gain this thing has as well as undesirable component and build quality. This should help with the spread of the data as a clean amp would end up in triple or quad 0 ESR territory and not show a spread across training methods. Amp captures have been gain matched, blended and exported as Single, Dual in parallel and Triple as a Blend to test out the sum of averages across the tone for a more balanced capture as well as to test whether it would have an effect on the training itself with different architectures. Same settings across every single capture. 12 o'clock Gain 2 o'clock Tone 3 o'clock Level Trained with two different input files. T3K - Default T3K input sweep file. TTS - An edited variant of the TTS sweep file I have had the best results with on T3K. SINGLE - One Capture Output DOUBLE - Two Capture Outputs Blended TRIPLE - Three Captures Outputs Blended Trained with different architectures. STD NANO FEATHER LITE xSTD Signal Chain RME UFX II XLR OUT > RADIAL REAMP > JOYO > TWO NOTES RELOAD II > RME UFX II XLR IN 8dBu Out 15 dBu In Captures have been Phase Aligned at Zero Crossing and Time Aligned down to the sample for Accuracy across training. All have been trained on Tone3000 with 1000 epochs with best fit enabled. There are other input files that can produce even more accurate results offline. I decided to use 2 that are trainable with tone3000 so everyone can try it out. Thank You -Jay
